His expertise lies in the intersection of music performance and cultural consciousness in Kurdistan, Khorasan, the Gulf, and the Indian Ocean regions<\/strong>. \ud83c\udfa4 Speaker:<\/strong> Mahmoud Mashhudi The largest Arab population in Iran<\/strong> resides in southwestern Iran<\/strong>, specifically in the central, western, and southern parts of Khuzestan Province<\/strong>. The Khuzestani Arabs<\/strong> can be categorized into five groups based on their lifestyle, livelihood, and culture<\/strong>: In this session, Mahmoud Mashhudi<\/strong> will examine the musical traditions of the Arab people in Khuzestan<\/strong>, providing insight into their musical life and cultural practices<\/strong>. \ud83c\udf93 Mahmoud Mashhudi<\/strong> holds a Master\u2019s degree in Ethnomusicology<\/strong> from the University of Art, Tehran<\/strong>, and is a santur player<\/strong>.
